Tools to help your Foreclosure Cleanup Business.

We in the Foreclosure Cleanup Business take a lot of photos. Some times 200 or more just at one property. You need to get them from one place to another with little effort on your part and know that they are going to get to were they need to be. They need to get there on time as well.

We have found some tools that help us and maybe they can help you as well.

The photos need to be a smaller size for a lot of the companies that you are working for. This is a tool that is free to get. It is a photo re-sizer. This is where you can go to get the photo re-sizer, click here .

If the company that you are doing business with has a size that they want the photos, use that size. If not this is a good size to use for your photos: width 640 height 480.

Make sure that you have dates on the photos. Some companies want dates & times on them.

You need a good digital camera with telephoto capability  on it ( for the roof shots for example.) You do not have to break the bank to get the most costly camera. Just get one that will do the job and have the things on it that you need.

If you have people helping you in the field. It is hard to email a lot of photos back and forth, sometimes they get lost. This is a tool that is also free to get on the internet. It lets you share your documents, photos and files with other very quickly. Photo Sharing go here .  (This works for business photos as well as your personal photo sharing.)

One more tool that you will need is an off site system that saves all the files that are on you computer. Things happen to computers. We do not want you to go out of business because your computer crashes  or liquid gets spilled on it. We will let you choose that one, search it out on the internet, there are many out there.

These are some things that you will need them to do for you.

Store your files off site (in there main frame computer at a different site.)

You need as much storage space as you can get, you are storing a lot of photos.

Can you get to them if you need them quickly?

How is the support? Will they be there to help you if you need it?

Are they secure? No hackers getting into your information from there end.

These are a few of the things that you need. You might think of some more. Some of the better sites charge money to store your information.  Check them out for yourself you can choose the best one for you. One that fits your needs.

We hope that these thing will help you as they have helped us.
