- After 27 years in the industry I retired and sold my seven state business. That was in 2009.My oldest son and I were recently approached to start a consultant business although we never stopped helping contractors.So we started offering classes again, reasonably priced and helping many contractors to get paid, get work with the right companies etc. I came to realize I loved this industry and it was good to me, now I am trying to be good to it, by helping to put good people in it.
