I am a consultant to a few buyers reps with many clients looking to make principal investments in single family residential an commercial multifamily properties, both performing an none-performing assets. They are ONLY looking to work direct to BANKS & PRIVATE SELLERS. Buyers will not submit a POF or LOI unless they can sample what you have. I agree Darlene - watch the banks - they are the ones that got the economy the way it is - open your business accounts with a credit union - do business with REALTORS - (they file with the banks)The realtors have to list and sell these foreclosed and abandoned homes - they are the key - teach them what you do and they will call.

I agree with Chris, I would love to hear from asset managers? I would like to know what they are looking for in a listing agent and the best way for agents to get in.

I am wondering if anyone knows of any bank that makes you open a business account with them to do Property Preservation with them. My husband's bank told him that I will have to open a business checking account with them before I could do "business" with them. I told my husband that isn't right (or is it) bc if that was the case people wouldn't get any business having to open accounts with every bank they do business with. He said they told him it was just THEIR policy. I think they just wanted me to open an account with them.
