Honestly Travis, it's all in your defintition of "worth". One thing you have to keep in mind is that you're a vendor to that company; not a vendor to the bank or asset management companies directly. Meaning you can get work but you're also splitting some of the income with the company who is going to piece out the work to you. Now if you're having a hard time finding the work and these companies have it already lined up, It might be in your be interest to work for these types of companies. After all some income is better than no income. Another thing to keep in mind is the work history. If you're just starting out and don't even have any photos to document past experience being a independant contractor on a few of these jobs will only be beneficial to your company's image because you'll be able to do a job and take full credit for doing so, and you'll finally be able to add some before/after photos to your website or fliers etc...

As far as responses on Us best repair Service in particular goes, It's hard to say because this site is relatively new and still in it's infancy so the majority of people on here are basically new comers. There's a few people that are already established in the industry but very few. the majority of those people already have a good reputation in their town and the word of mouth referrals are treating them pretty well. Which essentially is what you're going to need to build up. When you market to realtors directly try not to give the impression that you're only working with foreclosures becuase the Rental market is full of people ditching out on their leases and leaving stuff behind as well. There's tons of options foreclosures are just one little niche in the grand scope of options available to people in our profession.

Best of luck with everything.

Chris

US Best has always been great for us.  They answer your questions and bend over backwards to help you.  They aren't a bank but they pay well and quickly.

I've never worked with them directly b/c i have a great local clientele BUT i've heard nothing but good things about them and heard their pricing is fair. Good Luck

hi travis,

im in central california, they sent me there info and the prices are a little low and they want to back charge if they

have to send you out to retake a photo or fix an issue.

i cant see back charging for it as we have to take time away from another job ourselves to fix the issue w/ out being penalized.now maybe if they paid what the service is worth then it wouldnt hurt as bad...lol

hope this helps
