If I'm not mistaken, the client will tell you what he want done to the items left behind.  But I'm sure someone more experienced in this field can tell you more.  Good luck.

If it's a complete trash out you can always keep what you want, but be careful about personals, ask your client if they want the property posted or storage of personals. In todays economy everyone is suing for everything, the most important thing is to protect yourself/company ( make sure that you have insurance also )
