I saw on the news the other night about foreclosure cleaning and this interests me very much. But I don't know how to begin. Any ideas would be much appreciated.

I started my business about a year ago and we have become very busy. Click here, this is a site I went to when I started my business and it helped me greatly! Good luck
Hello Daniel,

I have been researching this Property Preservation business for about 3 weeks now and have come across many websites regarding that very topic. I did come across DREAMSTREET INVESTMENTS about a week ago and have been pondering whether or not to purchase anything from them. I did notice in one of your replies that you did insert a link to a helpful site, when I clicked on the link it took me to Dreamstreet. Did you purchase the Property Preservation manual for $49.99 and if so did it explain in detail how to get started or did you need another reference or several more to complete the dream of having your own business.
Any reply would be very much appreciated.

Thanks,

Parrish
I did actually buy their foreclosure training guide, it was excellent. It taught how to start and run the business, plus great marketing techniques how to expand my business. I would recommend it. The best part is it comes with the reo contacts-I just started signing up with them and started receiving work bids.

Hi Daniel,
I am trying to get my husband in the foreclosure clean up business but have no idea what to do or what is entailed. We are in NJ..he is a drywall contractor and work is very slow. I am a Realtor and seeing what I do on a daily basis, thought this would be the thing to get into at this time. He already has workers comp and Liablitly and has crews sitting around waiting for work. Would love to know who you contacted and what you needed to do to get his business up and running. You can email me directly at lmcline38@aol.com.
Thanks for any help and advise you can give me.

I understand the stats for CA, AZ, FLA etc...But I live in Western New York. How do I find out how the market is for this type of business in my area? I would love to do this, but I'm not sure there are the huge numbers of foreclosed homes around here? Also how do I find out if there's any competition around here for this?

Seems like you could get started for very little money. What does it cost to get started?

Thank you for any and all help.

Norm
For New York there were 3,947 properties that entered the pre-foreclosure status for the month of August, this means additional potential properties that could become foreclosures. And 5,350 Total foreclosed properties in your area for the month of August alone. New York is also a booming foreclosure real estate market! These #'s are for August alone!! Good luck!
What are the stats for the Fort Worth, TX area?
The entire state of Texas had 7,375 new properties enter the pre-foreclosure status, this means potential properties that could go foreclosure. This is for August 2009 alone!! The total properties that actually foreclosed on for Texas in August was 11,261. Those are huge numbers!! I included this chart for you for specifically the Fort Worth area.
Texas Trends AUG. YTD.
New Foreclosure Filings 11,261 87,409
Foreclosure Sales 1,203 9,043
Avg Sales Price $ 189,602 $ 193,078
Plus there are over 70,000 properties considered REO (foreclosed) already in Texas currently listed for sale!! Great area for a Property Preservation business!!
Thanks for the info. Are there many doing this in this area that you are aware of?
I am not really sure how many vendors there are in that direct area, however it's a great business to be in. And it's a very growing business! According to realty trak the high foreclosure rates should remain very dominant until at least the 3rd quarter of 2012. I know many vendors making six figure incomes doing this business. I wish you much success in your business!
Hi Derrick

We are close to the same neighborhood. Have you purchased any literature on starting this business? if so, what and what did you think of it?
